For the first time ever, fans will be able to vote for the player that appears on the cover of Madden 2011. The choices are Indianapolis WR Reggie Wayne, New Orleans QB Drew Bress, and Minnesota DE Jared Allen. Voting ends on March 15th, and the winner will be announced sometime near the NFL draft in late April. We think that the Who Dat Nation will propel Brees to winning spot, but is this a coveted or cursed win?

If you attended the Freshtoid office gift exchange a few years back, you would know the significance of a nice comb. If you weren't lucky enough to be there...you should still know the importance of fresh comb. James Dean used to keep one in his back pocket, post up against the wall, then run that comb through his hair. If James Dean were around today, we are pretty sure this is the comb he would be rockin'. It is shaped like a hand gun so you can really go to battle with those bad hair days. Josh Sacco - Miracle Speech Kid Inspires USA Hockey Team 9:55 PM

If you were being unAmerican this past weekend by not watching the Olympics, you missed the United States Of America Hockey Team upset Canada, 5-3. While Canucks are trying to figure out how the hell the USA did it, we think we know. His name is Josh Sacco. Five year old Josh gave the players an emotional speech from the movie Miracle. Watch his video, and the clip from the movie to see how spot on the kid is.

Tony Kornheiser Suspended From PTI 8:20 PM

Our good friend Tony Kornheiser has been suspended from one of our favorite TV shows, Pardon The Interruption (PTI) for two weeks, following comments he made on his radio show about ESPN co-worker Hannah Storm's clothing. According to reports, Tony said the following:

"Hannah Storm in a horrifying, horrifying outfit today. She’s got on red go-go boots and a catholic school plaid skirt … way too short for somebody in her 40s or maybe early 50s by now. She’s got on her typically very, very tight shirt. She looks like she has sausage casing wrapping around her upper body … I know she’s very good, and I’m not supposed to be critical of ESPN people, so I won’t … but Hannah Storm … come on now! Stop! What are you doing?"

The next day, Tony started his radio show by apologizing and even poked fun at himself. He said:

"I apologize, unequivocally ... I'm a sarcastic, subversive guy ... I'm a troll, look at me. I have no right to insult what anybody looks like or what anybody wears. That, I think, should go without saying."

ESPN, we get it. He was a little out of line with his comments. But taking him off PTI for two weeks? Give me a break! First off, he's a talk/radio show host. This is what you pay him to do... TALK. He calls EVERYONE out, athletes, schools, owners, politicians, fans, even his own network. Second, he made the comments on his radio show. Pull him off that, not one of the best, most entertaining shows on television. ESPN, Freshtoid still loves you, but come on.

King Tut is the original Mac Daddy, the boy king that ruled Egypt around 1300 B.C. and tragically died at the age of 19. New research has finally uncovered what killed the Fresh Pharaoh and no it was not a hit from a rival gang member. In reality Tut King was afflicted with avascular bone necrosis, a condition in which poor blood supply weakens or destroys an area of bone, plus malaria (hate those damn mosquitoes) —a fatal combination. The discoveries were made after 21st Century science and DNA testing were used to investigate the cause of death and genealogy of Egypt's most famous mummies. 108,000 Fans Attend 2010 NBA All Star Game 10:56 PM

The 2010 NBA All Star Weekend is over now, and well, the thing was DISAPPOINTING. The only highlight, ironically enough, were the number of fans in attendance... 108,000 people! This is the largest crowd EVER to watch a b-ball game. With so many people going to watch such a crappy event, Nick and I are hoping that twice as many fans come to read our mediocre blog.

The video was directed by Academy Award winner Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby). The song and video are available to download now on iTunes, with all of the proceeds going to the WATW Foundation to help those in Haiti.

Just like the world's great nations coming together to discuss how to work together to help one another, Freshtoid likes to do the same thing with similar businesses. This week we set up a meeting with the folks over at Pixar and we could not have been happier with the results. After a discussion of previous Freshtoid-Pixar projects and laying out a calendar of when we can expect future Pixar films to be released, we were invited to take a tour of facility. We were also invited to enjoy some Italian soda (we opted for the strawberry) and offered cereal from Pixar's famous cereal bar (we took a raincheck, but will be indulging at our follow up meeting.) There were a lot of unique pieces of art from various Pixar films, primarily the newest film Up, whose models, sketches and artwork decorated most of the Pixar walls. After the tour, we arranged a second meeting at which we would be included in a pre-screening of Toy Story 3.

Having signed a nondisclosure agreement, we cannot discuss too much, but keep your eye out for some real interesting stuff from you friends at Freshtoid and Pixar.

Michael Jackson Autopsy Report 6:57 PM

It was rough on all of us when the King of Pop passed away last summer, so rough in fact that we had to take a month off. Just this week though, the Los Angeles Medical Examiner released the King's autopsy report. It was difficult to read, hearing about his wig and nose reopened the old wounds, but it seems now we can all finally reach some closure. It will still be a while as his killer's trial continues, but at least the healing process can begin.

He was the greatest entertainer of all time and no matter how many times we listen to Man in the Mirror, nothing will bring him back. Click here to read the highlights of the autopsy report, but make sure you are sitting down and have a box a tissues nearby. RIP MJ.

The show follows two guys who aspire to hit it big in the super competitive New York fashion scene. Think "East coast version of Entourage." If these characters are anything like Vincent Chase and Drama, we are all in for a real treat.

Going green are Freshtoid's middle names (don't blame us, blame our parents), so anytime we see a great idea to help our girl Mother Earth, we post it here. One idea we really like is the Turbine Light concept. Basically, these turbines use the wind collected from cars driving by, to generate energy for the lighting along the roads. 25 years after the first version of We Are the World was released to benefit the African famine relief, Lionel Ritchie and Quincy Jones will re-create that same magic with 25th Anniversary version of the song to benefit Haiti. Some huge names in this All Star cast include Wyclef Jean, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Barbara Streisand, Carlos Santana, Jamie Foxx, Vince Vaughn, Celine Dion, LL Cool J and many more. Our sources are also telling us that Michael Jackson's voice from the original will be used along with his sister Janet Jackson recording vocals as well. The world premiere of the video will air during NBC's coverage of the opening ceremony of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics on February 12th.
