Tony Hawk to Run 5th Gumball 3000 7:16 PM

Tony Hawk confirmed just a few short days ago that he will be driving in his fifth Gumball 3000. For those that do not know, the Gumball is a rally car race anything you have ever seen before. The finest cars your eyes has ever seen including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys and BMWs along with their drivers gather for a cross continent race. Each year the route changes and the 2010 route will cross two continents and send drivers all over Europe and Eastern North America. No word yet on which car Tony Hawk will be driving, but we guarantee it won't be a Pinto. The race is scheduled to begin on May 1, but until then you can your fill of crazy videos from previous Gumballs here.

Anyone can hang their clothes on a wire hanger, some opt for the wood or plastic and even others get those flexible ones or ones that can hang multiple shirts, but only the real players can get their hangers shaped like a bird. It still has the classic wire hook on top so you can get it into your travel bag, but your shirts will be a whole lot happier soaring with the black bird in flight. With the the 2010 WInter Olympics on the line, and after taking a ridiculous crash to his face in practice (2:30 on the video), Shaun White still decided to compete in the 2010 Winter X Gamers SuperPipe. The Flying Tomato went big (not home) with a huge 23 ft Method, and hit both a Double Cork 1080, and a Double McTwist 1260, to win his 3rd consecutive X Games Gold Medal in the SuperPipe, an X Games record.

"I got a Vizio," said LT back in 2007 when he was racking up touchdowns and yards like Freshtoid racks up fan mail (meaning, unbelievably rapidly.) Fast forward a couple of years and as LT dropped off the face of the Earth, Vizio is looking for ways to expand its tech presence beyond televisions. This includes a fresh set of headphones that are so fresh we don't even know when or if they will be available. The headphones will be bluetooth enabled, but the best part will be the LCD screens on the ear pieces. The screen can display a visualizer, album art or even a picture of your favorite blog(gers). No word on the cost or potential release, but if LT and his TVs stay on track, we will be seeing them sooner rather than later.

Biggest & Brightest Moon Of 2010 TONIGHT 6:03 PM

If you've ever been mooned, you know the site usually isn't too pretty. However, tonight's "mooning" will be much different. Tonight will be the biggest and brightest full moon of the year! Being the first full moon of the year, it is also known as the Wolf Moon (this is NOT Twilight related tweensters). As a little bonus, one of our favorite planets, Mars, will be just left of the moon tonight.

Dancing Inmates - Michael Jackson's This Is It 6:49 PM

We all remember the video from a few years back of the inmates in the Philippines recreating the Michael Jackson (RIP) Thriller video. Well get ready for the second and what figures to be the final installment of the dancing Filipino prisoners with This Is It. MJ's choreographer Travis Payne visited the prison and taught the inmates the slick moves. Do be sure to watch until 2:45 when things go into slow motion. MJ would have been proud.

The stage is set ladies and gentlemen for Super Bowl XLIV, 44 for those Roman Numeral haters. If you weren't one of the 55 million people who watched the epic NFC championship game, the Super Bowl will feature MVP QB Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts against superstar QB Drew Brees and the explosive New Orleans Saints. The game will take place on Sunday, February 7, at 3:25pm PST. We already know that Vegas is picking Indy as the favorite, but we want to know what the fresh heads think. So, who you got?

2010 is all about going green, that means conserving; conserving fuel, conserving power and most importantly conserving water. Our friends at Xeros just made it much easier though with development of their waterless washing machine. Yes that's right, waterless, well not exactly waterless, but 90 percent less water, which is a pretty significant water saving. Ever wonder what would happen if you gave a chimp a video camera? Well obviously, if you gave him a human camera it would be destroyed, but what if that video camera were chimp-proof? And had a large screen so the chimp could see what it was filming? That would be pretty wild eh? I would have to agree, but you don't have to wonder anymore because the BBC (go figure first they have human bed warmers and now chimp home movies) will be airing the footage in a documentary on January 27, aptly titled "Chimpcam." With all the drama surrounding late night talk shows, Freshtoid feels it necessary to chime in*. Well, kind of. Conan O Brien's last appearance as host of The Tonight Show aired last night. We are very sad to see Coco go. However, his legacy lives on with this impressive Cheeto portrait created by artist Jason Baalman. The portrait is 5 feet by 4 feet in size, and used 2,000 individual Cheetos. Baalman used 50 bags, in 3 flavors, and needed 3 weeks to complete this masterpiece.

As usual, our friends across the pond are light years ahead of us though and have solved this problem for all people staying at a Holiday Inn in the UK. Now, upon request, a human being in a full sleeper suit will come to your room to make your bed warm and toasty before you get inside to go to sleep. For those FreshHeads outside of California, MacArthur Park is not a place to be after dark; more than once have I seen them have to drag the lake to find a body and it is where Carlton on Fresh Prince decides to go to sell fake Gucci purses to prove to Will that he is tough. In addition, anytime that something functional can be made from someone's trash, it's fresh. The dancer in the commercial (no it is not actually Gene Kelly) has got moves. The only problem is the commercial ends so quickly, but the graphics, the dance moves and the key message of an Updated Original are Fresh to Death.
