Ground Hog Day

Let's be serious here, I think we all know that the REAL reason to celebrate on February 2nd involves a certain rodent in a certain city in Pennsylvania. That's right today is Ground Hog Day and Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow so we can expect a few more weeks of winter. The movie was great, not Bill Murray's finest moment (I think we all know that was What About Bob?) but this day is the intersection of the progress of the seasons and Phil stepped on that gas peddle and said full forward with winter. It's been awfully cold and awfully wet over the past few weeks, but Phil, just like Pau on the Lakers, is not in the business of taking nonsense and we're all celebrating the festivities of the day. (And for all you Fresh Legal Heads (looking at you Ryan) it was on this day in 1790 that the Supreme Court convened for the first time).
