LEGO House 7:15 PM

Our love of all things LEGO is well documented, but even we do not have the same affinity for the plastic building blocks that Mr. James May of the UK has. He loves them so much he is literally building a house out of the colored bricks. Now anyone can build a house, but May actually intends to surround himself in LEGO goodness and live in the house. The structure will be built with help from 1,200 eager friends and require over 3 million LEGO pieces. And yes, you know you were wondering, the toilet will be made of LEGOs and be fully functional. Spacebook Dual Screen Laptop 2:52 PM

If one monitor is good, then TWO must be even better. That is the thinking of Alaska-based gScreen, the inventor of the Spacebook and the thinking of all of us around the Freshtoid offices. Only in the largest state in the union could they come up with a way to get two screens in the same space as one. They conveniently do so by allowing the two 15.4-inch screens to slide behind each other to be stored like a boring, old single-screen laptop and slid apart when you are firing on all cylinders and need all 30.8 inches of computer screen glory. Earlier tonight, the incredibly talented ,DJ AM passed away. DJ AM was not only a master of the turntables, but a pioneer in bridging the gaps of genre and culture in music. His music has touched the lives of many and we will not forget you. Our best wishes go out to his family and friends.

It might seem simple and uninteresting, but I am pretty sure I just saw a Freddy Krueger marrionet and a LEGO pirate moonwalk across the screen. USC vs. Ohio State in 3D 5:18 PM

According to our source at Pixar Animation, (and our recent Crayola post) 3D is undoubtedly the future of all media. We have already seen a few sports games broadcast in 3D including last year's Chargers-Raiders game, but nothing as big as this year's USC-Ohio State game (yes, we realize the BCS game was in 3D last year and we stand by the remark). The best part though is that the tickets to the event are FREE! You just have to know who to talk to, luckily USC beat writer Gary Klein came through in the clutch and you can get the times and locations here.

We know that we led you astray a few months back with the promise of a Michael Jackson auction, but we can pretty much guarantee that he won't be requesting his items back days before the auction this time. This auction is supplied with memorabilia from his friends; some of the highlights include his famed sequin glove from his Motown performance, the jacket from his Bad tour, a fedora from his MTV performance and even hand-drawn pictures and paintings by the pop star. Lakers Game in Coliseum? 6:21 PM

This news may be a few weeks old, but for those who don't read every line of espn, you may have missed it. It may seem far-fetched but they probably said the same thing about an NHL outdoor game as well and now there are two of those each season. It was reported by Marc Stein over at espn that it could have been a reality if a scheduling conflict had not prevented the Lakers' exhibition games from being moved to the afternoon. The games would have to be in the afternoon to ensure that it did not get too cold outside to continue the games. Even though it did not happen this season, the fact that most cities would not have the climate or facility to support a game of this nature, gives hope that it is only a matter of time before we see basketball in the Coliseum.

Fox Searchlight Pictures brings the freshness with their film, 500 Days Of Summer. The movie stars Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

The movie follows a boy named Tom who believes in destiny and that love can strike at an instant and completely take over one's heart. His love interest, Summer, does not think this at all.

This movie is funny, unpredictable, and feels completely genuine and real. 500 Days Of Summer also has great soundtrack to go along with this nontraditional boy meets girl story. Fresh heads, go see this movie!

We love a good Mountain Dew around the Freshtoid offices, so when the mad scientists at the Pepsi Labs announced two new flavors, you knew we would be all over it. The two new flavors target the 'gamer' crowd with a World of War Craft theme and while we may not play the game, that doesn't make the beverage any less delicious. The cherry dew actually tastes more like an orange gummi bear, but who doesn't like gummi bears right? The blue fruit punch flavor does pack the same 'punch' if you will, but still should at least be sampled. We can't wait to see what the geniuses at Pepsi will come out with next!
