Kobe Bryant's signature shoe for 2008-2009 is out of this world FRESH. The shoe is lower cut than other basketball shoes, which cuts down on weight and as Kobe says, makes you run faster and jump higher than any other basketball shoe. The words carpe diem are also imprinted on the inside of the tongue to remind young ballers that when you put on these shoes, you are wearing a piece of Kobe himself. I feel bad for the parents of elementary school kids who, if they want to be looked upon favorably by their children, must but these >$100 shoes. Ridiculous.
